Copyright & permissions
Respecting creative work is part of publishing it well.
What this page covers
The Leone Connect Publishing name, Connected Pages identity, website design, original site text, catalogue material and approved house assets must not be copied, altered or presented as another organization’s material without authorization.
Books, illustrations, photographs, translations, recordings, performances and other contributor work may be controlled by Leone Connect Publishing, the creator or another rights holder. A catalogue listing, author profile or online preview does not itself grant reuse rights.
Uses that need a clear rights decision
Request a written decision before using protected material beyond what applicable law or an existing agreement allows. The responsible rights holder must review the exact use, not a general description of a future project.
- Reproduction of text, artwork, photographs, diagrams, covers or substantial extracts.
- Translation, adaptation, dramatization, performance, recording, audio or screen use.
- Course packs, institutional distribution, commercial training or repeated classroom use.
- Advertising, merchandise, promotional campaigns, datasets or machine-learning use.
- New editions, formats, territories, languages or distribution channels outside an existing permission.
Prepare a complete request
Complete information allows the correct rights holder to assess scope, availability and timing. Provide a genuine decision date rather than an artificial deadline.

How a request is reviewed
We first identify the work and the party authorized to decide. We then review the requested material, purpose, format, territory, language, term and distribution. A request may require third-party clearance, additional information, a fee, contractual terms or referral to another rights holder.
We aim to acknowledge routine enquiries within two business days and provide a response or useful progress update within five business days. A complete rights decision may take longer when ownership, availability or third-party material must be verified.
Specialized uses
Media quotation, review material and interview-related requests follow the Media Use policy. Schools, libraries, universities and training organizations should review Educational Licensing before requesting classroom, course-pack or institutional reuse.
Credits and rights concerns
If a credit, ownership statement or permitted use appears incorrect—or if you believe protected material has been used without authorization—identify the exact page, work and concern through the structured form.
Do not send passwords, private account information, confidential evidence or unrelated personal data. We may request appropriate supporting information after the enquiry receives a private reference number.
