Other ways of working

Project and early-career opportunities

Some work may be commissioned for a defined project rather than offered as employment. Leone Connect will publish a brief only when the work, budget, deliverables and selection route have been approved.

Freelance & contract work

Future briefs may cover editing, proofreading, illustration, design, photography, research, translation, facilitation or specialist production. Each brief will define rights, fees, deliverables and deadlines.

Internships & emerging talent

Any internship or learning placement will state its learning objectives, supervision, duration, location, time commitment and compensation before applications open.

Readers & specialist reviewers

A project may require sensitivity readers, educators, subject specialists or other reviewers. Calls will specify the expertise required, confidentiality expectations and terms of engagement.

A clear process

What to expect when recruitment opens

  1. A complete notice. The role, criteria, work arrangement, compensation information, deadline and reference will be published together.
  2. One structured application route. Applications will use a vacancy-specific form and collect only information needed for that selection process.
  3. Consistent review. Candidates will be considered against the published criteria, with interview or task details provided to shortlisted applicants.
  4. Responsible closure. The outcome and relevant privacy or retention information will be communicated through the official recruitment route.

Recruitment standards

Verify every opportunity

Leone Connect will not charge an application fee or ask candidates to apply only by direct message. Genuine opportunities will appear on leoneconnect.com and identify an official application route. Formal notices will also explain how to request a reasonable adjustment for the selection process.

The general Contact form is not a job-application channel. If you need to verify whether a published notice is genuine, use it to send a brief verification enquiry without attaching personal documents.
