The Author Workspace lets a verified author review connected books, propose profile changes, manage professional links, submit manuscripts, make referrals and follow private review activity.

Create, verify and recover an account

Use one ordinary low-privilege account for one author identity.

Create an author account with an email address you control, or use Author & Reader Login and continue as an author.
Confirm the registration consent and verify your email.
If the account is not connected, submit the private verification or re-verification request from Author Workspace.
Provide your public name, identifying work and a professional verification route; Leone Connect reviews before connecting the account.
Use password recovery from the sign-in entrance. Never send a password by email or in a form.

What happens next

After approval, the same account opens the correct Author Workspace; no second account is needed.

Understand the workspace

The overview shows your official profile, connected works, readiness and items awaiting review.

Overview summarizes the governed record.
Verification handles identity connection and re-verification.
Profile proposal holds biography, official website, approved social pages, portrait permission and private enquiry instructions.
Connected works shows catalogue records credited to you across all publishers.
Manuscripts, Referrals, Experience review and Account & security remain separate governed tasks.

What happens next

You can find the correct task without editing WordPress administration or another person’s record.

Propose a profile update

An author proposes; Leone Connect reviews; the public profile changes only after approval.

Compare the official profile with the current public facts.
Edit only the fields that need correction or improvement.
Use complete public-facing biography copy and full HTTPS social links.
Confirm that you reviewed every changed field and have permission for the portrait and links.
Submit once, then follow the reference and status in Profile review activity.

What happens next

A private proposal enters the audit trail; nothing changes publicly until Leone Connect applies an approved version.

Manage books and publishing credits

One author profile can connect to books from multiple publishers and to independently published work.

Review each connected work and its contributor role.
If a book is missing, provide title, ISBN, publisher or independent-publication status, and a confirming source.
If a publisher credit is wrong, submit a correction rather than editing the book record.
For independently published work, Leone Connect records the author or imprint as the publishing route after verification.
Each author works directly with Leone Connect through an individual verified account. Original publisher and imprint credits remain on the relevant books.
Historical publisher credits do not require a publisher account or make a publisher a current Leone Connect partner.

What happens next

Readers see one coherent author page with responsibly connected works and publishing relationships.

Propose an Audio show or episode

Audio Studio lets a verified author prepare a private production brief without receiving administrative editing access.

Open Audio Studio in Author Workspace.
Choose a new show or a book-connected episode and write the customer-facing title and editorial summary.
For an episode, choose a book already connected to your profile, then select an existing connected show or name the proposed new show.
Add the episode format, language, proposed participants and private production notes without including passwords or payment credentials.
Optionally attach an approved Audio master; it moves directly into the private Drive vault and never enters the public Media Library.
Submit once and follow its status in Production request history. Withdraw an open request with the required second click when necessary.

What happens next

Leone Connect can review the relationships and prepare draft production records while your public profile and connected books remain unchanged.

Review an Audio editorial proof

Editorial proof review creates an accountable author-to-editor handoff for an applied private Draft.

Open Publishing → Editorial proof review in Author Workspace after Leone Connect prepares the Draft.
Listen to the connected private proof, then expand the transcript, chapter plan and source cards.
Check names, quotations, sequence, chapter times, source labels and approved links against the recording and your evidence.
Choose approval when the package is accurate, or identify exact transcript, chapter and source corrections.
Confirm that you reviewed the complete package, then use the required second click to submit one private response.
If Leone Connect requests clarification, review the private editorial note and submit a new response.

What happens next

Leone Connect receives a private response tied to the exact Draft snapshot you reviewed.

Complete an Audio release handoff

Release approval appears only after Leone Connect has reviewed your approval of the exact editorial proof.

Open Publishing → Release approval in Author Workspace.
Review the episode title, identity, visible credits and the exact staff-reviewed proof.
Choose Ready for Leone Connect release review or Do not proceed yet.
When ready, propose a future date and morning, afternoon, evening or no preferred local window.
Use the private note for timing, identity, credit or release concerns; a hold requires a specific note.
Confirm both release statements, then use the required second click to submit the private handoff.

What happens next

Leone Connect receives snapshot-bound release evidence and can review it alongside every connected author state before staff records a separate private scheduling proposal and authorized future publication.

Manuscripts, referrals and reviews

Each route has a different purpose and consent boundary.

Use Manuscripts for a work you want Leone Connect to assess under the stated submission terms.
Use Referrals to introduce a willing author, reader or friend; do not share sensitive material or claim consent you do not have.
Use Experience review to describe a verified Leone Connect relationship; publication remains moderated and optional.
Track every request in the workspace and use withdrawal controls when available.

What happens next

Submissions, referrals and reviews enter separate private workflows and never publish automatically.

Read Audio earnings statements

Earnings appears only when confirmed Audio revenue has been allocated to your verified author profile.

Open Earnings from Author Workspace.
Available means the allocation is recorded and not yet placed into a payout batch.
In process means Leone Connect reserved the exact entries for review and independent approval.
Recorded paid means staff entered the external provider reference after payment; it is not a live bank or mobile-money balance.
Refunds appear as adjustments and can reduce an available balance without deleting the original sale.

What happens next

You can follow the commercial record without seeing another beneficiary, payment destination or internal evidence.

Interpret Audio audience and conversion

Audience & conversion reports only the episodes connected to your verified profile.

Open Audience & conversion from Author Workspace.
Compare starts with completions to understand whether listeners reached the end.
Use transcript searches, connected-book opens and listening-offer opens as directional signals for presentation improvements.
Review recorded Audio revenue by currency without combining unlike currencies.
Treat every count as an aggregate action, not a unique reader or guaranteed sale.

What happens next

You can improve titles, transcripts, chapters and book connections without seeing a reader, order, search term or private note.

Security and professional enquiries

Your private contact address is an operational route, not a public profile field.

Keep your sign-in email current and use a unique password.
Sign out on shared devices.
Treat unexpected requests for passwords, payment or files as suspicious.
Author enquiry forms are routed by Leone Connect without revealing the private address publicly.
Report lost access or incorrect account connection through the secure Contact route.

What happens next

Your public profile remains professional while private account and enquiry information stays controlled.

Troubleshooting

If the expected result does not happen

Use the matching recovery step before submitting another request or creating another account.

Sign-in works but the Author Workspace is not connected

Use the verification request inside Author Workspace. Do not create another account unless Leone Connect support instructs you to.

A profile proposal is still awaiting review

Open Profile review activity and use its reference. Submitting the same proposal again does not accelerate editorial verification.

A book or publisher relationship is missing

Submit one connected-works correction with title, ISBN, publisher or independent-publication status and a reliable confirming source.

You no longer control the account email

Use Contact from a secure device and request account recovery. Never send an old or new password in the message.

An Audio earnings balance looks wrong

Identify the title, statement currency, period and expected agreement. Refunds can reduce Available before payout; never send a PIN, PayPal password or full bank information.
